The Spindle Bed and Breakfast St Andrews

The Spindle is situated in a very central location. Just a few minutes walk to the town centre and within walking distance of the famous Old Course. The Spindle is South-facing with a view over the Kinness Burn. Full Scottish Breakfast is served overlooking the patio and terraced gardens. This is also the home of my friendly Retreiver, Tasha. Due to the location of the house, on the side of a sometimes fast flowing river, children under 12 are not accommodated. Single guests welcome.

Road Directions Follow A91 into St Andrews. Approaching town you will see Old Course Hotel on left. You will come to a round about. Go straight over. At next mini roundabout turn right up City Road,pass the bus station on right, go straight over the next two mini roundabouts, past Shell Petrol Station and down the hill Melbourne Brae Bridge Street. Take a left at bottom of hill onto Kinnessburn Road and follow road until you see Auld burn Road on your right. Park as close to here as you can. There is a small footbridge crosses the burn. Go over this and turn right along footpath to third house (no 4 ) The Spindle. Public Transport Directions From the nearest information centre:- From market street turn left onto Church Street. Turn left on to south street then right onto Abbey Street. Take a right onto Greenside Place and follow down hill to left. You will cross a bridge over a river. Turn immediately right onto Kinnessburn road. Follow road along and park as close to the entrance of Auld Burn Road. You will see a foot bridge that crosses the burn. Cross this and turn right along the footpath. The Spindle is the third house along (no 4 ).
